Mini Jukebox #2

Thanks to Joe Nechanicky HonestMan@ll.net for write-up and pictures!

This is another “mini” Jukebox that I purchased from an eBay seller. As you can see it also uses the mini continuous loop tapes (like the other one). The tapes go into the side on this Juke box, not into the front like on the other one. This Jukebox came with a few tapes as pictured;, however like most 8-track tapes, the foil glue has dried and the tapes came apart when I tested two of them. The player works fine but when the song ended so did the life of the tape! These are quality-made cartridges, and they are held together by screws, which makes them easy to fix. But like 8 tracks, they require patience if you don’t want to ruin them. I had never seen this style of mine juke box before anywhere; it could have been made before the other one, as this one is a quality made unit and has replaceable light bulbs, screw in type, and two motors, one for the tape drive and one for the spinning record. It also has more detail inside the “window.” Inside there is a control for tape speed and also one for volume. I have had many requests for information on where to buy the tapes. The best bet here is just to watch eBay. These juke boxes come up now and then but more then “than” then now.
