With
war in the air, I felt it was an appropriate time to post this 8-track
sent to 8-track Heaven by Miles Steuding. Since neither Miles nor I
can read Japanese, I enlisted the translation assistance of my friend
Mark Brady and his dad & uncle, all of whom read Japanese quite well.
The translated titles are listed above.
Basically these are songs about and from WWII from the Japanese perspective. The songs feature a female vocalist and modern music, "Americanized" song arrangements for the most part.
This is a very nice looking cart,
with full color art sleeve and a neat sculpted "grip" on the
cartridge. Another interesting feature of this is the label itself:
