SOUNDS OF HORROR

Thanks to Kate's Track Shack for this cart!!!

This looked like the perfect tape for a Halloween "8-track of the Moment." At first glance, it appears to be a collection of horror theme songs with horror sound effects. But closer inspection of the track listing shows there are actually only a few "horror" songs (Monster Mash, Transfusion, Purple People Eater), with the rest being your typical "goofy" AM pop songs of the late 50's like Ray Stevens' "Ahab the Arab" and Sam the Sham's "Wooley Bully." Then at the end of every track is about 5 minutes worth of horror sounds...some pretty good and funny stuff, actually. But it's such a bizarre concept: One horror song followed by 3 "goofy" songs followed buy 5 minutes of sound effects! Only on 8-track...
