Notes by Abigail:
All original artists here (although there is no mention of
anyone's name on the label), and a pretty mixed bag. Like many
pirate 8's, this one has a vaguely-worded assurance on the label
that royalties were paid and copyright laws followed. The
eye-catching full color label art is certainly notable, as is the
beautiful lavender plastic case. These touches, as well as the
fact that the four programs are timed out pretty evenly, and the
recording levels are somewhat stable, make this a relatively
high-quality example of the bootlegger's art. I wonder if the Kirk
part of the label's name, Kirk of the Heather, is someone's first
name? Thanks to Big Bucks Burnett for this beautiful cart.
