Notes by Malcolm Riviera:
Misty is typical of the fly-by-night 8-track labels of the 1970s
in that there is no address listed on the tape; also, no artist information or publishing
and copyright info is listed. "The Rock Revival" was probably just a studio band
that cranked out a lot of recordings under different names (such as "The Rock
Alliance," another Misty act). To their credit, the track "Stuff on My
Mind" is one of the hottest, smokin' fuzz-box blues tracks of all time. The lyrics
are ridiculous ("I got stuff - I got stuff - I got stuff, mama -- on my mind -- on my
mind -- on my mind"), but no more so than most 1960s/'70s pop music when you think
about it. ("I'm So Glad" by Cream comes to mind...).
