Notes by Malcolm Riviera
This tape just has so much going for it. First, it's a Moog recording -- from that short-lived era after Switched-On Bach became the first all-synthesizer hit record, and every producer in the country had to have their Moog record. Walter Sear, co-inventor of the Moog, on this phenomenon:

"They were cynical, inept, opportunistic things: throw together a group, lay down some strings and horns and vocals, leave some space for a novelty melody line from the synth. That was the scene in '69. Moog records."

That's basically the gimmick on this cart -- badly-played big band tunes with cheezy Moog lines for the melody. And it's in quad to boot!

Secondly, this cart is released by that true-blue friend of the tracker, Realistic (Radio Shack). It was probably a demo cart for their quad systems.

And finally, to top it off, the word Moog on the cover is in 3-D (if viewed with those red/green cardboard 3-D glasses)! A true triple threat, and borderline Hall o' Fame material.
