Tenna TC-77-T   This is a N.O.S.  player complete with box and all the goodies. The unit comes from Tenna Canada LTD originally, with a domestic office in Cleveland, OH. Has a fine tune adjustment for the head height accessable on the front panel. Tenna_q.jpg (11125 bytes)
Craig/ Pioneer Model 3129. This has to be one of my favorite players of all time. This probably has to do with the classic styling and the fact that it shares the same chassic as the Craig 3104 and 3108 2 channel players. It is built like a tank. Craig1_q.jpg (13766 bytes)
idi Model QK48. Designed for 8 Ohm speakers, this basic (cheap) unit has a fine tune adjustment for the head height and a cool track indicator that uses four thin sheets of plastic with the numbers etched into them. As the track changes the plastic sheets are individually edgelighted to make the number light up. Idiquad1_q.jpg (9200 bytes)
Motorola Model TM920S Serial #0020 !! This is another sturdy unit made for many years of enjoyment. Designed for 3.2 Ohm speakers, it is big and heavy. Motorol1_q.jpg (13153 bytes)
Muntz Model M434. Rated for 4 or 8 Ohm speakers and came with a slide mount not pictured. Has track repeat. A note of interest: this Muntz player is internally identical to the RCA player shown below. Both of these players were built by Matsushita (Panasonic)and use the standard 8 pin Panasonic connector on the slide mount. Muntz1_q.jpg (12798 bytes)
RCA 12R800. Same case, slidemount, and internals as the Muntz player, but without the track repeat button. Built by Matsushita Corporation. Note IC "integrated circuit" designation on the tape door. Rca1.jpg (153739 bytes)
Pioneer Model QP444.   Not big on features, but very well built. This player shows no wear on the capstan, indicating very few hours of play time. It has the look of a shaft mounted indash radio, but is designedto mount under dash. Pioneer3.jpg (140113 bytes)
Pioneer QP424. A smaller Pioneer Quad player designed to mount under dash with a slide mount (not shown). This one does have track repeat and fast forward switches. Although slightly scratched and missing its slide mount, this unit has never been played. Pioneer4.jpg (121132 bytes)
Sanyo Model FT862. Sanyo was famous for their matrix four channel players based on two channel playback. This unit is discreet Quad but has a switch to enable the matrix feature when playing two channel tapes. This player has a "tape stripper", which is a small metal piece built alongside the capstan to keep the tape from wrapping around the capstan if the cartridge is wound way too loose or has some catastrophic failure.
